The artwork of Valerie Hegarty born 1967 in Burlington, Vermont, USA almost seems to hover between two worlds: those of art and real life. Much of Hegarty’s work appears to begin with a classically styled piece of “fine art”: a still life painting, or presidential portrait for example. In some way, then, the real world begins to impose itself on the work. Some frames and stretchers begin growing branches and sprouting leaves. Other paintings are riddled with bullets or burnt by fire. The story inside the painting violently mingles with a story outside of it. The painted world and the lived world meet to tempestuous result. via Hi-Fructose

Usually when people do that “you’re special” crap I tend to roll my eyes.
But when Mister Rogers said it…
That’s because Mister Rogers meant it.
Mister Rogers genuinely cared about everyone and that’s why he will forever be the best. All of my feels.
True fact: He was considered to be one of the hardest people to interview, because he would turn it around and ask questions about the interviewer with genuine interest. Asking about their children and spouses, their dreams of the future, etc.
Bill Nye used comic sans in his debate.
Bill come on this is supposed to be professional.
Comic sans is considered the easiest typeface for dyslexic people or people who have trouble reading to understand. He’s probably using it because he wants everyone to be able to easily understand him and have time to read everything on his slides.
